The seat of the Duke of Northumberland, Alnwick is one of the most beautiful and scenic market towns in Northumberland.

Just less than 5 miles from the coast, the town dates back over 1,400 years and has been an important agricultural centre. The fabric of the town centre has changed little in all those centuries, retaining almost all of it's charm and character.

The town is within easy walking distance of our cottages and offers a wide variety of pubs, restaurants and other entertainment, including the Alnwick Garden and Alnwick Castle and the thriving Playhouse Theater.
